Collection Events

Grass-roots marketing tools such as inflatable banners, event banners as well as traditional and non-traditional marketing tools are used to promote e-waste collection events.

 

ERC and Walmart

ERC partnered with Walmart in 2007 and recycled over 90,000lbs of e-waste at four California locations. We engaged Walmart employees with an in-store incentive to drive traffic to our event over the promotion period and during the event. We also rewarded consumers at each location with a $500.00 Register-to-Win Walmart gift card.
